Erasmus+ Program (For Study and Internship Mobility) Information About Foreign Language Exam Dates

A foreign language exam will be held by the School of Foreign Languages on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, for our students planning to apply to benefit from the Erasmus+ Program Study and Internship Mobility activities.
The place/classrooms/time of the exam will be announced on iro.mehmetakif.edu.tr 2 days before the exam. Students who want to take the foreign language exam must apply through the "Exchange Programs Application System" at https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YabanciDilSinaviBasvuruSistemi/KullaniciGirisi.
Applications for the Foreign Language Exam will be opened on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the link mentioned above. The deadline for application is Monday, November 27, 2023, at 17:00.
The foreign language threshold for the Erasmus+ Program Study and Internship Mobility is 50. Applications of students who do not have an exam result will not be accepted for any Erasmus+ program.
Candidates who apply for the foreign language exam but do not take the exam will have a -5 reduction in their total score in their next Erasmus mobility applications.
Applying for the foreign language exam does not mean applying for exchange programs. Applications for exchange programs will be opened at a later date.
Quotas will be given to departments that have agreements on behalf of their department for Study Mobility. Quotas will be announced in the study mobility announcement.
The score obtained from the Foreign Language Exam will be valid for the 2023 Project Year Consortium Mobilities, 2022 and 2023 Project Year KA171 Study Mobilities, 2023 and 2024 Project Year Erasmus+ Program Internship Mobility, and 2024 Project Year Erasmus+ Program Study Mobility applications.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only students who have agreements on behalf of their department can apply for the 2024-2025 academic year study mobility. Students from departments without agreements who take the foreign language exam will not be able to apply for study mobility. The current bilateral agreement list is available at https://iro.mehmetakif.edu.tr/. It is strongly announced to our interested students.
