2024-2025 Academic Year Bucak Faculty of Computer and Information Orientation Program

We held our Bucak Faculty of Computer and Information 2024-2025 Academic Year Orientation Program and had the opportunity to meet our new students. The opening of the program was made by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. İsmail KIRBAŞ. In his speech, he explained the opportunities offered by our faculty and wished the students success in the new academic year. Then, our university's orientation video was watched, allowing our students to gain information about the general structure of our university. Our faculty's Software Engineering Department 1st Year advisor Dr. Lecturer Murat SÜRÜCÜ and Information Systems Engineering Department 1st Year advisor Dr. Lecturer Sena ÇELİK made detailed informative presentations about our school and faculty, addressing important topics regarding the students' academic processes. Topics such as the grading system, ECTS, and credit information were discussed, and questions that students were curious about were answered. Head of the Software Engineering Department Dr. Lecturer İhsan PENÇE and Head of the Information Systems Engineering Department Dr. Lecturer Sena ÇELİK provided informative speeches about their departments, giving information about projects and collaborations, encouraging students to participate in projects. Research Assistant Ali Tezcan SARIZEYBEK made a presentation on awareness about addiction. Then, a documentary about the life of Mehmet Akif Ersoy was watched. The presidents of the IEEE Community, Digital Game Community, Information and Informatics Community, and Gambit Community also introduced their communities and invited our new students to join these communities.
